Soundscape Perception & Interventions
The workshop addresses all people interested in sound, performance and installation art. Focussing on the terminology “soundscape” (combination of “sound” and “landscape” describing the acoustic surrounding in a certain location or space) the workshop peeks into theoretical & practical aspects of perception and ecology. On the basis of a location in ?rhus the participants will learn how to analyze, categorize and develop an artistic approach based on their findings. In practice this means: We will research a location based soundscape, develop an artistic concept and finally produce a performance / installation as a public event. No special skills or knowledge is necessary to participate in the workshop, if you have any audio recording or editing equipment you are welcome to bring that along.
